A flexible communication solution for NAHT

Sabre has recently won a contract to deliver an Avaya IP500 telephony solution to the National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT) in Haywards Heath. The NAHT is an independent trade union and professional association representing 28,000 members in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

As part of a 3 phased project Sabre was required to design a VoIP solution incorporating the needs of 60+ employees at the Haywards Heath head office, the networking of regional offices in Northern Ireland and Wales and the subsequent provision of IP softphones for home workers.

With reliability and resilience in mind Sabre recommended a HP Procurve switch to act as the backbone of the communication network working in conjunction with the Avaya IP500 system.

Capable of supporting up to 272 users Avaya's IP500 is the flexible solution to a growing organisation and being feature rich the NAHT can now offer remote working to its employees by purchasing individual users licences on demand.
