Seeing a gap in the Telecoms supply sector, Sabre Telecom was founded in 1993 as a specialist in refurbished second-user communications equipment. The cost savings and abundance of used equipment in the marketplace meant that we were able to grow rapidly and to serve many large companies; with the IBM Corporation being one of particular note.

As a company that never stands still, investigations were made relating to a move to the supply of new equipment. In 1997 Sabre became a Value Added Reseller for Lucent Technologies (the Enterprise Communications Group now known as Avaya - you may have seen their name around the stadia of the 2006 World Cup Tournament). Over the years, our partnership and continued focus on their best-in-class products has culminated in Sabre being appointed as a Gold Business Partner for Avaya.

We have a dedicated support team built around Avaya's two core products - the IP Office system for small to medium businesses, and the MultiVantage system (AKA DEFINITY) for medium to large enterprise.

Our technical team is headed up by a Director with the highest level of accreditation awarded by Avaya - that of Avaya Certified Expert. Another member of the team has recently been awarded the ACE grade, and all the other members are Avaya Certified Specialists (ACS) – with their eyes firmly on becoming ACE themselves!

Last year we added Mitel’s excellent 3300 ICP series of communication servers to our portfolio – further increasing our flexibility by offering only the best value, feature-rich, yet simple to use systems currently available to the UK market.
