World Class Software Platform

MultiVantage Express is based on Communication Manager 3.1. Communication Manager is the facilitator of Intelligent Communications and is the next generation of Avaya call processing software.

IA770 R3.1 – Voice and Fax Messaging with Auto Attendant

The IA770 messaging system delivers voice, fax and text messaging to help improve communications and simplify information exchange within organisations. The end user can access their voice and fax messages from their PC using Message Manager, an easy-to-use application that can be downloaded from the MultiVantage Express Server. The Automated Attendant feature of IA770 answers incoming calls with a prerecorded announcement and routes the call based on the caller's response to menus and prompts.

• Users can record a spoken message, address it, and then send it to other IA770 voice messaging users. These users can receive the message on their local machine.

• Fax messages can be received, forwarded, sent and viewed on the end user PC using Message Manager.

• Helps improve customer service and employee productivity.

Mobility Features:

• Extension to Cellular – calls to your desk phone ring on your mobile

• one-X Mobile Edition – control your calls via a compatible mobile phone

• IP Softphone – calls delivered to your PC or laptop, wherever you are

• Web-based self-service tool to manage FollowMe – send your incoming calls to any direct dial telephone number (landline or mobile)

MultiVantage Express provides various options for a mobile workforce:

• Remote workers (home users, road warriors, traveling executives...) can use the IP Softphone (included as standard) with a headset; or they can use the VPN IP Phone if a physical phone on the desk is required.

• People that are on the road can use Extension to Cellular (included as standard) to provide Communication Manager features on their mobile phone using the Avaya one-X Mobile Edition. Specific to MultiVantage Express is the ability for the user to change their Follow Me destination using a web based interface.

• On-premise mobility solutions are available using Voice over Wireless LAN or (IP) cordless handsets.

• Access to Communication Manager features wherever you are, improves productivity and employee satisfaction.

• The ability to deploy a mobile workforce with little to no change in feature functionality or user interface eliminates the need for heavy IT support.

• Flexibility in design allows users to select the appropriate options based on their needs.

MyPhone and FollowMe self-service tools to manage your calls.

One of the ways to improve your management efficiency while maintaining the productivity benefits of the end-point applications is to empower the user to manage certain elements of their communications environment themselves. MultiVantage Express provides the following for the end user:

• MyPhone - This web-based interface allows the user to change their button programming, the display language and their security code for their phone.

• FollowMe - This web based interface allows the user to decide where their incoming calls will arrive – on their mobile, at home, in fact, any telephone with a direct dial number.

• Decreased total cost of ownership by reducing the amount of time required by the system administrator to optimize MultiVantage Express to the individual user's needs.

• Increased productivity by allowing individuals to manage their own extension effectively when they need.

Call reporting and analysis

MultiVantage Express is based on Communication Manager and all CDR and BCMS data is collected and stored in a database on the server itself. Using the web based interface simple historical reports for regular call accounting or informal call centers can be created, example:

• Far end mute - the moderator can mute participants on the call in case there is a lot of background noise.

• Pin code access for secure conference calls.

• Selective Drop and Conference Display - the moderator can see on their phone display who is on the call and can selectively drop participants as appropriate.
