Case Study: RMA Sandhurst
Sabre have provided an AVAYA VoIP and internet access solution at the Royal
Military Academy Sandhurst.
The installation is based in a campus environment and the system extends to 10 locations throughout the whole site with more than 900 users.
The project scope was to provide VoIP telephones and internet access to all users with a pre payment system for telephone call charges. Each user has an AVAYA telephone to receive and make incoming calls with a voicemail facility to take messages.
Sabre designed, supplied and installed a managed HP PoE Procurve network, AVAYA media server and Digitalk prepaid access server, all backed up on a managed UPS at every location.
Sabre carried out the installation in a timely manner and worked in harmony with the company providing the fibre and copper cable installation. They complied with all the security requirements and coped well with the stringent security of a military establishment.
Sabre provide ongoing support and the AVAYA system has enjoyed 100% uptime since it was installed in May 2005.
Sabre carries out work at a number of Ministry of Defence sites in the UK and has recently implemented a VoIP and Internet access for approximately 2000 users in Aldershot. Therefore, I would not hesitate in recommending Sabre Telecommunications as a competent supplier of voice and data communications.
Should you wish any further information on the project, please do not hesitate to contact me.
