Solution and service provided:
SCL's need was to utilise voice over IP telephony to maximise their operational efficiency and further enhance their customer support. As SCL engineers were operating in different locations it was imperative that a cost effective solution, without any regional constraints could be found.
Following a demonstration by Sabre on the capabilities of Avaya IP Office and the Avaya IP Softphone, a PC based telephone application SCL were convinced this solution answered their VoIP needs. SCL were equally impressed with the scalability and additional features Avaya's IP Office could deliver.
Thoroughly project managed Sabre Telecom were then able to provide the tools, equipment, experience and manpower to deliver a system befitting SCL's requirements.

By using the Avaya IP Softphone feature SCL are now able to provide a flexible communication solution to their engineers and homeworkers by simply logging on to a Internet ready PC.
